Aja focuses her practice on appellate advocacy and complex litigation, approaching every case with thoughtfulness, creativity, and precision.
Aja leverages her experience in legal research, brief writing, and strategic issue development to assist clients in navigating high-stakes appeals and dispositive motions. Her analytical acumen allows her to craft persuasive arguments on behalf of clients facing challenging legal questions, making her a valuable asset both in the courtroom and on appeal.
Before joining Holland & Hart, Aja served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Brian D. Boatright of the Colorado Supreme Court. During law school she served as a judicial intern for Judge Christine Arguello of the US District Court of the District of Colorado. She also completed internships at the US Attorneys’ Office for the District of Colorado and the Appellate Division of the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office.
